'La chambre des députés sous la neige, Paris' Robert Doisneau
La chambre des députés sous la neige, Paris, 1940 is from Robert Doisneau series of when he was in Paris in 1940. Doisneau was known for his modest, playful, and ironic images of amusing juxtapositions, mingling social classes, and eccentrics in contemporary Paris streets and cafes. The architecture of the building is to die for! This and Joel Tjintjelaar work have inspired me to become an architectural photographer, to capture the essence and beauty of buildings which have been around for a long time. They have inspired me to capture a building similiar to this. Therefore I captured a building in Skpoje, Macedonia which looks similar to their work.

It's unique detail is mesmerising. When looking at Doisneau image, it almost makes you feel like you are travelling back in time and are standing next to him whilst capturing the beautiful that is infront of him.
Robert Doisneau is Influenced by the work of André Kertész, Eugène Atget, and Henri Cartier-Bresson allowing Doisneau to create images similar to their work. Throughout his life Robert Doisneau won many awards. Doisneau was also appointed a Chevalier of the Order of the Legion of Honour in 1984.
